BLOG: REHOUSE remains on course for success and is moving ahead with confidence

People are becoming increasingly familiar with the REHOUSE project, which is already well known among university students, as well as among both locals and visitors from across Greece, thanks to the guided tours offered.

The DUTh team has proposed incorporating the project into the overall framework of the guided tours provided at the DUTh Multi-Theme Educational Energy Park, named “Heron.” Since the park hosts hundreds of visitors every week, the dissemination of this innovative project is ensured. Residents and visitors alike can witness firsthand how technology and innovation go hand in hand and observe the positive impact the project delivers.

The most recent developments of the REHOUSE project can be summarised as follows: For RP1, excavation works began in the Geothermal Field in March. During this phase, plastic pipes were connected, insulated and buried in the underground canal, being successfully connected to the rest of the underground geothermal piping system of PSYCTO’s Heat Pump.

Earlier, in October 2024, RENEL completed the installation of the PV panels and electrical cabling. The commissioning of RP2 was successfully finalised in early April.

Overall, everything is progressing well, and we look forward to the continuation of the project.
