Why attend?
The CLR initiative, established by the European Commission, has brought together a vibrant network of communities, experts, and policymakers across Europe. Over the past years, we have worked together to overcome barriers, share knowledge, and develop practical solutions for inclusive, citizen-driven building renovation. Our final event is an opportunity to reflect on these achievements, discuss remaining challenges, and look ahead to the future.
What to expect:
A comprehensive agenda:
The day will feature a rich programme of sessions, including keynote speeches, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Each session is designed to foster dialogue, share practical experiences, and inspire new ideas for scaling up citizen-led renovation.
Session highlights:
CLR Results & Reflections: Discover the key outcomes, lessons learned, and impact stories from our pilot initiatives, learner and follower communities, and the newly developed CLR Handbook. Partners will share their achievements and insights, offering a concise overview of the initiative’s impact and its potential for future replication.
Panel Discussion: CLR through the Eyes of the Communities: Hear directly from community representatives and members of the Enablers Board as they discuss the opportunities and challenges for collective action in driving the energy transition. This session will focus on the real-world experiences of energy communities, highlighting both successes and structural barriers.
Deep Dive: Barriers to Citizen-led Renovation: Explore the main technical, financial, regulatory, organisational, and social obstacles that limit large-scale replication of citizen-led renovation. Learn how these challenges can be addressed through targeted policy action and hear practical experiences from the ground.
