From 18-20 November 2025 the Enlit Europe 2025 will take place in Bilbao, Spain, to connect industries, inspire action, and help Europe evolve into a dependable, decarbonised, and digitalised energy system.

About the Workshop

Without genuine citizen engagement and social acceptance, even the most advanced solutions risk falling short. This interactive session will explore how understanding social norms, behaviours, and user perspectives is essential to making innovation work in real life.

Through practical insights from five EU-funded projects – CHRONICLE, FORTESIE, PROBONO, REEFLEX and eFORT – participants will discover tools and approaches that put people at the centre of transformation. The workshop will also include a hands-on, gamified group activity designed to co-create solutions to real-world challenges.

Whether you join us in Bilbao or online, this session will offer valuable insights into why the human side of innovation is just as important as the technical one — and how it drives trust, acceptance, and real transformation.
