This year the Sustainable Places 2025will take place in Milan (Italy), in the Monte Rosa 91 Conference Centre, from 8 – 10 October 2025. The conference programme is still under development but here is a list of confirmed workshops: SP25 Agenda – Sustainable Places (SP)

Scaling Impact: Collaborative Pathways for Sustainable Building Renovation in Europe
This workshop brings together six European initiatives connected through the Network of Building Renovation Projects, a collaborative platform fostering knowledge exchange and joint action in the field of sustainable renovation. The session will explore innovative, scalable, and cross-sectoral approaches to construction and renovation, highlighting how projects are addressing key challenges such as circularity, digitalisation, social inclusion, resilience, and policy alignment. The session is designed to be interactive and co-creative, inviting participants to engage in dialogue with project representatives, explore synergies, and contribute to the development of joint strategies for a wide impact across Europe.
By showcasing this diversity of methods and perspectives, the workshop aims to inspire new collaborations and policy recommendations for inclusive, resilient, and financially viable renovation across Europe.
