REHOUSE activities developed in Italian Demo Site, will be presented in the third appointment of the Humanising Energy Roadshow, dedicated to the benefits of improving energy efficiency on an urban scale, and organized in Foggia, Puglia region, Italy, on September 24th. The initiative carried out by ENEA, in collaboration with the Municipality, the Order of Engineers and the Order of Architects of the Province of Foggia, is part of the national program for training and information on energy efficiency Italy in class A, promoted by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security that aims at a confrontation on issues related to energy upgrading of buildings and urban regeneration.
The event highlights the need to adopt a new cultural model of design, greater awareness of energy sustainability at urban and social scale, exploring the interconnections between the transformation of urban spaces, behavioral change in energy end use and the promotion of social cohesion.
A specific focus of the day will be on Deep Renovation, Off-site construction, an update of Inter-ministerial Decree 26/06/2015 (Minimum Requirement Decree), and the Guidelines for Building Green Roofs and Walls, in order to stimulate critical reflection and provide insights for the creation of innovative redevelopment of projects, promoting an integrated approach to building resilient and sustainable cities.
Monica Misceo, ENEA, will present Rehouse activities related to the building environment and the new models of urban regeneration, developed in the Italian demo site located in Margherita di Savoia.
The roadshow stop scheduled in Foggia is an invitation for public administration planners, architects, engineers, companies, as well as communicators, to immerse themselves in the synergy between the energy upgrading of buildings and urban regeneration.
