The REHOUSE project partner Paraskevi Dimitriadou from Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh) participated in the “Shaping Sustainable Futures: Innovating for People-Centric Cities and Communities” event, organised by the NEBULA team in Brussels, on March 6-7, 2024. The event brought together experts, researchers, and industry leaders to explore innovative solutions for sustainable renovation and who they match with the New European Bauhaus principles.
Paraskevi was a panelist in Session #2: Beautiful, Sustainable & Inclusive Renovation, where she contributed to insightful discussions on:
- The integration of New European Bauhaus principles in modern construction ecosystems, emphasizing sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusivity.
- Showcasing pioneering initiatives in sustainable renovation at the Greek demo-site in REHOUSE.
- At the panel discussion the speakers shared best practices and strategies for fostering greener, more resilient cities.
- The interactive Q&A session for onsite and online audience concluded the session.
