The requalification process includes the deployment of two renovation packages:

  • RP04: A Centralised Holistic Heating & Cooling Renovation Kit designed to optimize energy use and improve indoor climate conditions.
  • RP05: A Multipurpose Façade System featuring bio-based insulation and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) to enhance energy efficiency and reduce the building’s carbon footprint.

Key Objectives:

  • Achieve significant energy performance improvements in aging building stock.
  • Enhance the quality of life for residents through innovative, sustainable interventions.
  • Develop and validate solutions with high potential for replication in similar contexts across Europe.

These efforts reflect the broader goals of REHOUSE to contribute to the EU’s climate objectives while addressing social challenges, paving the way for more inclusive and sustainable renovation solutions.
