The sixth General Assembly of the REHOUSE Project will take place in Bari, Puglia Region, Italy, on May 20 and 21st, under the coordination of the ENEA Departments of Energy Efficiency (DUEE) and Sustainability of Productive and Territorial Systems (SSPT).
Around 50 representatives of the 25 European partners involved REHOUSE project activities, from France, Germany, Greece, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and Hungary will participate, in presence, to the General Assembly.

The first day of the General Assembly will open in the headquarters of the Puglia Region, in Bari. Delegates will present the state of the art of their activities and take stock of the progress achieved from the beginning of the project. The meeting will focus on the goals and the impacts to be achieved, individual renovation packages, demonstration sites, and planning for upcoming activities.
The second day will see partners engaged in a guided tour of the project’s Italian demonstration site, a social housing building located in Margherita di Savoia (province of Barletta-Andria-Trani), for which a series of technological innovations and structural interventions were planned aiming at reducing the building’s energy consumption and CO2 emissions, and increasing thermal insulation and living comfort, improving the living conditions of tenants.
The two-day event will conclude with a visit the facilities of Pedone Working company in Foggia, REHOUSE partner involved in the development of innovative insulation systems for the Margherita di Savoia building, which include the use of eco-sustainable raw materials such as hemp fiber grown on their production site, practically at kilometer zero.
In addition to ENEA, there will be representatives from other Italian partners, ARCA Capitanata, Pedone Working, Rina Consulting, R.I., Steel tech, UNIBAS, and the Housing Policies Section of the Puglia Region.
