PanoRen is a system of insulated timber façades prefabricated in Techniwood’s factory. This existing system has been adapted to incorporate additional properties for use in renovating existing buildings.
Today, the renovation market is developing massively with the introduction of the RE2020 and environmental regulations. However, technical solutions have not really followed up the trend in response to renovation issues, particularly renovation on occupied sites. At present, the application of coating on insulation is one of the only solutions for renovation from the outside. That’s why the development of PanoRen has its place in the renovation market.
Techniwood is a company specialising in the design and manufacturing of off-site biosourced facades, and the spearhead of Panobloc® wood technology. Techniwood is a manufacturer of complete facade panels made in France, with cladding, joinery, blinds, etc., perfectly suited to the renovation market.
PanoRen is made from bio-sourced elements: wood for the panel structure and wood fibre for the insulation. It is prefabricated in the factory, and the joinery and cladding are also fitted, to avoid any inconvenience on site and ensure rapid installation. The panel is also fitted with pre-integrated ventilation ducts for rapid connection to the on-site network. To further reduce the façade’s carbon footprint, solar panels are installed to produce green energy for the renovated building.

Within REHOUSE project, Techniwood’s solution meets the challenges of renovation on occupied sites thanks to prefabrication and rapid on-site installation without disturbing occupants (they can remain in their homes throughout the renovation), while improving their quality of life.
