In the Pinacoteca 900 of Foggia old city area, a building that in the 70’s was used as local market and recently restored to become the new inclusive and social cultural and artistic space, of a very difficult and degraded urban area of the city, on September 24th, took place the “Humanizing energy Roadshow” organized by ENEA, in presence of the major and other relevant Puglia regional authorities, industrial representatives, local stakeholders, students, professionals, engineers and architects. The roadshow aimed at energy requalification of buildings and urban regeneration, promoting a new cultural design model, stimulating critical reflection, providing ideas for innovative redevelopment projects through an integrated approach for building resilient and sustainable cities.
In this prestigious framework, REHOUSE project activities together with REHOUSE’s requalification interventions planned to be realized in Italian Demo-site located in the nearby Margherita di Savoia, were presented in detail.
Two different presentations of REHOUSE project activities were held, the first by ENEA scientific coordinator of REHOUSE project, Monica Misceo, and the second by the team of architects, RTP consulting, that won the call for tenders to develop the energy efficient requalification project of Margherita di Savoia social building, that described, in particular, the interventions foreseen on building envelop and building plants.
Several other technical experts of REHOUSE partners ENEA and Arca Capitanata participated to the event together with the representatives of the social task force of Rehouse activities, Regione Puglia.
